All from Stoke, the boys formed the band in September 1990 having their first jam together at Star Track rehearsal rooms in Liverpool Road, Stoke.

Their first performance was a month later as the first band to appear on the opening night of The Freetown club in Hanley on October 25th. They went on to do about 30 gigs over the next 12 months, many at the famous Wheatsheaf in Stoke.

Over the last 20 years, House on Fire have become well known for their raw edged, kick ass, rockin’ rhythm n blues style and wherever they play, its one big party night.
